The Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos located in Lehtojärvi in Rovaniemi has been rewarded at the European Travel Awards in the categories “Most Unique Arctic Accommodation 2024” and “Hospitality Excellence Award 2024”.
The European Travel Awards is a competition organized now for the third time by EU Business News. This awards programme is dedicated to acknowledging the transformative efforts and remarkable achievements of businesses revolutionising the travel sector.

The Arctic SnowHotel is one of the biggest snow hotels in the world. It provides unique rooms and unforgettable nights surrounded by snow and ice. The first Arctic SnowHotel was opened in December 2008 and after that new one has been built every year. The snow hotel is designed to be different each year. Glass igloos and Autumn activities are open from 1st September. The snow hotel is open for visitors from 15th December to 31st March.
